Here we are once again spending a week in balmy Las Vegas (yes, I know, it's "dry" heat!). This is my 14th time to participate in Travel Mart. What is Travel Mart? It is constant activity, tons of hugs, double-cheek kisses, elegant dinners, reconnecting with peers AND, most important, a time to meet ONE-TO-ONE with the movers and shakers in the world of travel. By the time Travel Mart has ended we will have met face-to-face, eyeball-to-eyeball with over 700 executives from cruise lines, tour companies, destinations, hotels, unique and specialty niches---anything that has to do with creating the amazing vacations you deserve!

This morning I attended the Virtuoso Tour/On-Site Joint Committee meeting and this afternoon I'm off to add to social media "toolbag." Tonight we'll experience VAST, Virtuoso Active and Specialty Travel and spend time with some of our favorite friends---Lindblad Expeditions, Micato Safaris, and A Season Away. Tomorrow, more classes and meetings before the Owner's and Manager's meeting and the Opening Session of Travel Mart 21!

Fourteen years ago, Judi and I attended our first Travel Mart at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua, in Maui. Sounds exotic, right? Well, we learned that we're kept busy from 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM and the sand and surf would have to wait for another time! So, although I joke about "balmy Las Vegas," the next time I leave the Bellagio will be to return home---so, weather? What weather?
