Kudos to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts!
The J.D. Power and Associates 2009 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index StudySM , released on July 28, 2009, ranked Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as the best luxury brand. In their press release (http://bit.ly/p3clM), J.D. Power and Associates noted that guests seek comfort and value in this economy. My own experience validates the study’s findings. Four Seasons continues to provide extraordinary service, guest comfort, and has offered added value of complementary hotel nights in this tight economy. Four Seasons delivery is constant and consistent.
Recently, I read an article about Isadore Sharp, Founder and Chairman of Four Seasons. Sharp is a stickler for attention to details of the properties and the staff. In addition, it’s important to note that Four Seasons is a management company and owns no real estate, per se, a feature that allows the company to focus on providing complete comfort and satisfaction for its guests. In the recent economic downturn, some upscale properties have slowed their time schedule for renovations, downgraded amenities, and reduced staff; however, Mr. Sharp is adamant that Four Seasons must continue to deliver the same high level of service as in previous years. Obviously, the J.D. Power and Associates study proves Sharp’s directives are successful!
In addition, the study found that “Green Travel” initiatives matter to today’s consumer. Many are aware of and participate in the hotels’ efforts to honor and sustain our environment! How cool is that!?!?!?!
