Some researchers at the University of Michigan used data from NASA's Advanced Composition Explorer satellite to create a musical composition of what solar wind would sound like. For those of you who plan to bake in the sun over Spring Break, add this to your iPod's tunes. Some of us like to think we are “unique”---we, being defined as human beings inhabiting a planet we call, Earth. Others thrive on UFOs. As  Sgt. Friday would say in Dragnet, “All we want are the facts, ma'am" and "All we know are the facts, ma'am” (As an aside did you know that Jack Webb, aka Sgt. Friday never said the famous line, “Just the facts, ma’am, just the facts”? True! Check out Wikipedia. Those words were uttered by Stan Freberg in the parody St. George and the Dragonet.). The evidence suggests that there are other Earth-like planets circling other stars. Right now, we don’t have the technology to definitely call this a fact; however, it follows the logic of “If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck…”

Now, why am I blogging about this?
